This online evening course is suitable for budding Set Dec Assistants and soon-to-be Petty Cash buyers with limited industry credits. The course will be completed in 2, one-and-a-half-hour evening sessions over a 2-week period.
This course is particularly aimed at Post-Graduates and New Entrants to the industry and will cover Professional working practices taught by industry professionals. We will aim to demystify Industry lingo and clarify the logical, organised way in which we work to achieve our common design goals.

How to understand Mood-boards and work with a brief
Best practice as an assistant or Petty Cash Buyer
How your role is vital to the running of a Set Decoration Department
What does a Petty Cash Buyer do and how to work with your Buyer(s)
An Introduction to Petty Cash Reconciliation and Receipt Tracking
Petty Cash Buying is a challenging and exciting position within the design machine and we’ll be discussing the best practice methods I teach my buyers on productions to get the most out of your day-to-day work.
With helpful tips and tricks along the way, you will leave the course with a rounded understanding of the Set Decoration department and be confident to apply for roles to further your career journey.
